A few days ago, the Entry+ More Movies satellite package cost PLN 100. Forum.satkurier.pl users noticed that the rate is now PLN 95. The package offered to new subscribers includes 86 channels (including the recently launched Canal+ Family channel Canal+ 360, Canal+ Premium, Canal+ 1, Canal+ Film, Canal+ Seriale, Canal+ Document, Canal+ Kuchnia, Canal+ Domo, Ale Kino+, Novelas+, Planete+, MiniMini+, TeleToon+), Max (HBO channels, standard plan, Premium until the end of September), Netflix (standard plan), FilmBox (5 channels) and Canal+ online, according to the offer purchased. The contract lasts 23 months.
The changes will also affect customers who extend their contracts. Urkisat Settings, a blogger specializing in satellite deals, announced on Facebook that these people receive new SuperVip+ and UltraVip+ packages. The first package includes: HBO and Max (standard plan), Cinemax, FilmBox, History, History 2, Sundance TV, Mezzo). It does not include the Canal+ Super Sport package with the Champions League (additional payment of PLN 20 per month). The package is offered for PLN 109.99.
The UltraVip+ package also includes: Canal+ Super Sport, Eleven Sports, Sundance TV, Sportklub, Adventure, FightBox, France TV, as well as the erotic channels Private TV, Redlight, Dorcel TV, Hustler, Blue Hustler and VOD collections Zest Go+, Hustler SVOD. None of the customers who were offered this offer have publicly announced the price.
Packages with Netflix are still cheaper than directly
Netflix has recently decided to increase prices in the Polish market. The price of the basic package has increased from PLN 29 per month to PLN 33, the standard package from PLN 43 to PLN 49, and the premium package from PLN 60 to PLN 67. The cost of access for one person outside the household will be PLN 13 instead of PLN 9.99.
The latter option cannot be purchased through pay TV providers, but subscribing to Netflix via Canal+ allows you to save money. Simply purchase the Canal+ Series and Films package for PLN 29 per month. Until recently, the standard package could be purchased for PLN 30, and the premium package for PLN 47.
Currently, you have to pay an extra PLN 46 for the standard package and PLN 64 for the premium package. It’s still cheaper than direct. Users on forum.satkurier.pl who previously purchased Netflix via Canal+ reported that they received an email from this company informing them that their fee for the streaming service’s 4K package will increase by just one zloty.
XL Package in Polsat Box
Canal+ was not the only one to modify its offer before the autumn. The competitive Polsat Box has started selling the XL package. New customers can access it for free for three months. Then it costs PLN 100 per month, and after two years it costs PLN 110 per month. The new package includes all stations from the L package, as well as Polsat Sport Premium (UEFA Europa League, UEFA Confederations League and UEFA Nations League) and Eleven Sports channels (one in 4K quality – Laliga, Serie A, Ligue 1). There are 145 channels in total.
In this variant it is possible to purchase additional options: Stream+ (Max and Disney+ – PLN 25 per month), Disney+ (PLN 15 per month), HBO and Max (PLN 15 per month), FilmBox (PLN 10 per month), Entertainment package (for adults – PLN 10 per month), VOD package (PLN 10 per month).
