In the last 15 months, both the percentage of companies that have encountered a legal problem (from 45% to 58%) and those that have sought the help of professional lawyers to resolve it (from 37% to 45%) have increased significantly. This is the result of a survey commissioned by the National Council of Legal Consultants for the purposes of campaigns to promote the legal profession.

According to data from the Central Economic Information Center, in the first half of this year, 2,261 restructuring processes were initiated. This is the same as in 2022. Most of the companies are from sectors such as trade, transport and construction.
The Ministry of Finance informs that, as of July 24, 2024, a new service for the electronic submission of applications for the issuance, modification or withdrawal of excise duty licenses has been made available on the Electronic Platform for Tax and Customs Services (PUESC). The new service concerns the authorization to: remove excise goods from another person’s tax warehouse outside the excise duty suspension procedure (exit authorization).
Startup platforms launched under the European Funds for Eastern Poland programme are projects implemented by partnerships that include innovation centres, environmental business institutions, universities, venture capital funds, external experts and companies. Their task is to support start-ups in the first and most difficult phase of their creation and development. Individuals or teams of individuals who wish to establish and manage a company in the form of a joint stock company in Eastern Poland, in the following voivodeships, can apply to the Platforms: Lubelskie, Podkarpackie, Podlaskie, Świętokrzyskie, Warmian-Masurian or Masovian Voivodeships.
