A Warsaw company operating in the real estate sector has broken a debt record. It owes PLN 20.5 million to a consulting and financial company that provides investment loans, which is the highest amount recorded in the National Debt Register database. There are 727 companies with unpaid debts of at least PLN 1 million. It is difficult to recover from such heavy burdens. Backfires come from contractors who do not receive money for delivered goods or services rendered.

“We have exceeded PLN 5.5 billion in KPO investments. Another payment of PLN 493 million has just been transferred from the accounts of the Polish Development Fund,” Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy (MFiPR), wrote on the X platform on Thursday, adding that the next payment investments worth PLN 493 million have just been transferred from the PFR accounts.
