CAF: why benefits will be paid a little later in October

the important one
The social benefits paid by the Family Allowance Fund will arrive a little later in the beneficiaries’ bank accounts, in October 2024.

CAF beneficiaries, you have been warned. The assistance paid by your Family Allowance Fund will be paid into your bank account a little later than the usual date. The transfer date is usually the 5th of each month.

However, in October, the 5th falls on a Saturday this year. CAF will make the transfer the day before, Friday, October 4th. However, taking into account the specific deadlines for each banking institution, the amount paid will appear on Monday, October 7th in the recipient’s bank statement.

Recipients typically have to wait between 1 and 3 days before seeing the amount appear in their account, CAF explains.

This small delay applies to all benefits paid by the CAF: family allowance, RSA (Active solidarity income) or APL (Personal housing assistance).

In November and December, CAF will pay its various allowances on the 5th of each month.
