The discovery was made by people passing by the location and called the Military Police Group (GPM). It is not known whether the fire occurred when the person was dead or still alive, or who did the burning and what the reason was.

In addition to the Military Police, the Civil Police were also called and are expected to conduct an investigation into the case.
Unofficial information states that the victim was named Damiana, known as “Ana” or “Xuita” and that in December 2023 she killed her son in the Imburana neighborhood, in the same city.
