In the tournament held in Uzbekistan, the team achieved overwhelming victories, especially in the group stage. Such as 10-0 against Cuba, 8-1 against Croatia and 9-1 against Thailand. In the round of 16, another resilient result – 5-0 to Costa Rica, in the first knockout match.
Brazil has the best attack in the Futsal World Cup, scoring 32 goals and conceding just two. The competition’s top scorer so far is also from Amarilleña: winger Marcel, with nine goals and five assists. If successful, the team will face the winner of the confrontation between Ukraine and Venezuela.
