Seven children between the ages of 10 and 15 were injured in a bus accident in Orberg on Monday morning. According to police, a municipal bus on Line 601 collided with a truck at approximately 7:10 a.m. According to previous investigations, the 62-year-old truck driver may have overlooked the bus when it ran off the side of the road on Friedrich Wöller Street. During the accident, the bus’s windows were shattered and five children were injured by falling glass fragments. Two other children were injured as a result of the collision. A ten-year-old boy and a twelve-year-old boy were taken to hospital for outpatient treatment. The bus later ended up at the Bonn municipality’s utility workshop in Friesdorf.
