Bogusław Kukuć has died
Experienced journalists have been covering Widzew Łódź for decades. This season, he has appeared at matches and attended press conferences. On Thursday, at one of those events, before the match against Lechia Gdańsk, A 78-year-old journalist collapsed as reported by “Express Ilustrowany”.

Bogusław Kukuć wrote among others: for “Głos Robotniczy” and “Dziennik Łódzki”, where he was the head of the sports department. He is also the author of the book “My Widzew”. Last year he received a medal commemorating the 600th anniversary of the city of Łódź. Bogusław Kukuć describes Widzew’s greatest successes – including the European Cup semi-final in 1983 and four Polish championship titles (1981, 1982, 1996, 1997).
