Bia Haddad advances to WTA 500 final in Seoul

Tennis player Bia Haddad continues her good form and will fight for the WTA 500 title in Seoul!

The Brazilian reached the final of the tournament in South Korea after getting past Russian sisters Polina and Veronika Kurdemetova.

The match against Polina Kurdemetova (ranked 163), in the quarter-finals, Bia won comfortably with 2 sets to 0, partly 6/2 and 6/1.

The clash with Veronika (currently ranked 44th and previously ranked 9th), although also ending 2-0, was a little tighter. Haddad won the match with a double 6/4 in 1 hour 47 minutes.

The incident occurred on Saturday (21) because the tournament was stopped on Friday (20) due to rain in Seoul.
