All confiscated materials were handed over to the DHPP head office –
A man identified as the leader of drug trafficking in the Pernambués neighborhood, in Salvadordied after a shootout with a team from the 1st Independent Military Police Company. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, the 24th, in a town known as Baixa do Manu.

The PMs were carrying out preventive policing in the area when they saw individuals carrying weapons, who, upon realizing the police presence, fired their firearms, necessitating retaliatory action.
A man identified as Jailson da Silva alias ‘Cascata’ was shot in the action. He was taken to Roberto Santos hospital, but did not survive.
According to the PM, a 45 caliber pistol, 20 portions of marijuana and 14 portions of cocaine were found.
All seized materials were handed over to the DHPP headquarters, where the incident was registered.
