Band buys rights to broadcast Europa League matches on open TV

The band has acquired the broadcasting rights for the Europa League, Europe’s second major club tournament. The agreement covers the 2024/2025 to 2026/2027 editions. The contract provides for the broadcast of one match per round starting next Wednesday (25), at 13:35.

In their debut, Bodø/Glimt welcome Porto to the Aspmyra Stadium, in Bodø, Norway. The narrative will be written by Téo José, with commentary by Neto and Julio Gomes.

“Organizing the Europa League is a great benefit for our program and for those who love the sport. The public can watch the performance of giant European clubs such as Manchester United, Tottenham, Lazio, Porto, Roma and Athletic Bilbao, bringing together stars from various countries. This championship really showcases the talent and strategy on the field,” said Denis Gavazzi, sporting director at Grupo Bandeirantes.

The final is scheduled for May 21, 2025 at the San Mamés stadium, in Bilbao, Spain. In addition to open TV, the duel will be broadcast simultaneously on the Band website and the Bandplay application. In streaming, the tournament will be broadcast on CazéTV.
