Bahia announces signing of goalkeeper Dida for women’s team –
Returning to the A1 Series of the Brazilian Women’s Championship, Bahia announced another signing to join the squad led by coach Felipe Freitas. Tricolor announced that goalkeeper Dida, 33, is the Baja Squadron’s new reinforcement.

Dida played in Serie A1 2024 for the Brasília team and competed for the title of best goalkeeper in the competition. The athlete arrived at Real Brasília in 2022 and, in total, played 46 matches for the team, 16 of them this season alone.
Born in Simões Filho, Bahia, Dida has worn the uniform of big teams in Brazil, such as Santos and Vasco.
Lady of Steel
After gaining access to the Serie A1 Brasileirão Feminino, Bahia has competed in that category’s Bahia Championship. Leaders of Group B with 18 points in six rounds, Tricolor continued with 100% success in the competition. This team, by a huge margin, has the best attack and defense in the competition, with 64 goals scored and only one conceded.
