‘Baby Reindeer’ Wins Emmy for Miniseries

The thriller series ‘Baby Reindeer’ won the best miniseries of the year at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. Originally titled ‘Baby Reindeer’, the seven-part series developed by Scottish comedian Richard Gadd is a darkly humorous tale of a man being pursued by a stalker. The story is said to be based on real events from Gadd’s life. He also starred in and wrote the screenplay, for which he also won an Emmy. He and actress Jessica Gunning also received awards for their performances.

The Emmy Awards honor the best series, shows, and TV movies in American television and streaming.
