On Friday, the Civic Coalition will start a new political season, because, as every year at the turn of August and September, the Campus Polska Przyszłości, organized by Rafał Trzaskowski, will be launched in Olsztyn. It will open with a joint speech by the president of the capital and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Will there be any important statements in the near future? “Definitely,” the organizers predict, although they are not sure whether they will apply to the presidential elections. Although Tusk has not ruled out recently that the name of the Civic Coalition candidate will be announced only in late autumn, questions on this issue will certainly be asked in the plenary on Friday. Trzaskowski’s colleagues admit that the campus will further strengthen his name ahead of next year’s campaign. “It’s a big event with many distinguished guests and we haven’t had time to reveal all the cards yet,” says one of the organizers. And he promises a big personal surprise. – This will be a de facto Campus for the presidential candidate, a kind of pre-campaign – says one of the KO politicians.
The event starting on Friday is also an opportunity to present the unity of the entire coalition, because in addition to the head of government, the leaders of the other parties will also be present: Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Szymon Hołownia.
