Despite the 12-point deficit before the rematch, the Motor’s Speedway drivers have confirmed beyond doubt that their dominance in the regular season of the top flight was no coincidence and remain the main favourites to win the Polish championship title for the third time in a row.
The engine quickly made up for the loss
From the start of the match on the Aleje Zygmuntowskie track, the home team’s determination was visible and after yesterday’s intense training session by the entire team, they showed that they felt very comfortable there.
Practically after the fifth race, when Jack Holder and Mateusz Ciemniak defeated Robert Lambert and Paweł Przedpełski, the players of Jacek Ziółkowski and Maciej Kuciapa made up for the defeat of Toruń and the score was 22:8.
Zmarzlik will aim for the title on Saturday
Although the guests took advantage of all possible tactical changes, only Robert Lambert managed to fight on equal terms with his opponents.
Having already secured promotion to the finals before the nominated races, the motorsport training team designated the juniors to take part in them. They replaced Bartosz Zmarzlik and Dominik Kubera, who will start the next round of the Grand Prix in Vojens, Denmark, on Saturday, where Zmarzlik will have the chance to win his fifth world championship title.
