One of five men detained in connection with a brawl that took place on Śrem beach in Wielkopolskoye on Saturday night will be charged with attempted murder. The remaining suspects have been charged with involvement in the beating, police said.
On Saturday, after the 23rd, the police received a report of a fight that had taken place on the beach of Lake Grzymisławskie in Śrem. The participants in the fight used broken bottles to fight. As a result, two Śrem residents were taken to hospital with injuries. In connection with this incident, the Śrem police detained a total of five people – one Argentinean and four Colombians.

Wielkopolska Police press spokesman Junior Insp. Andrzej Borowiak reported that four detainees were charged with participation in the beating.
The prosecutor has charged a person with attempted murder and participation in a beating with a dangerous weapon
– said the spokesperson.
He added that investigators had asked the court to temporarily detain the suspect. Attempted murder is punishable by life imprisonment.
