Fashion designer Masaba Gupta and her husband actor Satyadeep Misra are all set to welcome their first child. Before the baby’s birth, the designer’s dear friend and actress Sonam Kapoor and her sister Rhea hosted an intimate baby shower for the mother-to-be on Sunday. The ceremony, attended by many of Masaba’s celebrity friends, was held at actor Anil Kapoor’s house in Mumbai. Masaba’s close friends were on the guest list. Mother Neena Gupta and father-to-be Satyadeep were also seen in the inside pictures shared by guests on Instagram Stories. The party was attended by Alia Bhatt’s sister Shaheen Bhatt, Akanksha Ranjan, Samiksha Pednekar among others. The mother-to-be wore a light brown dress to the baby shower.

Masaba announced her pregnancy by posting a picture with her husband Satyadeep. In the picture, Masaba is sitting on the floor with her husband Satyadeep Misra. Dressed in a white robe, the fashion designer looks super happy as she rests her head on her husband’s shoulder. Next to the message, she wrote a sweet note and asked everyone to send her wishes and banana chips on her way. She wrote: “In other news – Two little legs are on their way to us! Sending love, blessings and banana chips (salted ONLY) #babyonboard #mom&dad.”
For the uninitiated, Masaba and Satyadeep Misra got married in January 2023. They announced their pregnancy in April this year.
On the work front, Masaba is a fashion designer and actress. He was last seen in Modern Love Mumbai. Satyadeep Misra, on the other hand, made his Bollywood debut with No One Killed Jessica. He previously worked as a corporate lawyer. He was recently seen as a senior inspector in Vikram Vedha and was also a part of Mukhbir. His latest offering was Tanaav.
