At least twelve people died in an explosion at a Russian gas station

At least twelve people were killed in a massive explosion at a gas station in the southern Russian Republic of Dagestan. After the crash on Friday night, two more bodies were found in the rubble in the morning. This was reported by the Russian state news agency Tass, citing regional health authorities. Therefore, the two people who died were children. Eleven people were injured. A day of mourning has been declared in Dagestan today, Saturday.

The explosion, the cause of which remains unclear, severely damaged a gas station on the outskirts of the capital Makhachkala. The fire released pollutants into the air whose concentrations were above the permitted limits even at a distance of 300 to 500 meters from the gas station.
