If a person with a disability certificate want to start an independent and independent life after completing studies, then PFRON Perhaps subsidize all costs incurred by this person specified in the contract rent an apartment or house meeting individual accessibility criteria. The project is aimed at adults graduateswho have completed their studies in the last 3 years. For people who are not graduates, but they left the adoptive familyfamily home for children or care and education establishment; also those who have already started working or are looking for it, in their place of residence and even outside it.
Who can receive funding?
A graduate of all kinds of schools and a person who leaves a foster family (home, family childcare and education center) can receive financing for renting an apartment if they also have:
- a certificate of significant disability or an equivalent certificate, regardless of the type of disability;
- a certificate of moderate disability due to hearing disorders (or equivalent certificate);
- legal capacity.
Additionally, it is necessary to present a declaration on: not owning an apartment and the right to cooperative housing in the locality where the professional activity is carried out. Beneficiaries of the program are also required to certify: looking for a job or picking up.
Financing amount
Height subsidies depends on the location rented apartment and if the person with a disability certificate moves around with the help of a wheelchair.
Here is an example:
If maximum the amount of subsidy to rent an apartment will be – 1,614 PLNthen an apartment for a person in a wheelchair will be subsidized at a higher rate – 2,191 PLN.
It is worth noting that over time 60 months financing gradually decreases and amounts to:
- from the 1st to the 24th month – 100% of the rent value;
- from the 25th to the 42nd month – 70% of the rent value;
- from the 43rd to the 60th month – 40% of the rent value.
Where to apply for financing?
The program is implemented by district governmentswho will accept the invitation State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities for its implementation.
Application together with the necessary attachments must be sent via Support service system at https://sow.pfron.org.pl. Applications are submitted electronically. Beneficiaries can count on the assistance of district officials.
