Twelve internet creators travel to Malaysia to face a demanding test: surviving on a deserted beach on the other side of the world. In the program, to which Qczaj will bring his extraordinary energy, challenge and sense of humor, the participants will have to face adventures completely outside their comfort zone – we read in a statement from Prime Video.
Accustomed to everyday luxuries, they will compete with each other in pairs, pushing their limits not only to survive, but also to win the main prize – PLN 100,000, which the winners will donate to charity.
The Polish version of “Good Luck Guys” was recorded in the spring of this year. Prime Video has not yet revealed the line-up of participants. However, the Wirtualnemedia.pl portal has already unofficially reported that The program featured, among others, actor Michał Koterski, model and actress Marcelina Leszczak, influencer Sylwia Szostak, rapper Kubańczyk and the winner of the first edition of “Love Island” Sylwia Madeńska.
“Good Luck Guys” will premiere on the platform PrimeVideo September 27th.
The producer of “Good Luck Guys” is Endemol Shine Polska, part of the international media group Banijay. Local versions of the show have already successfully premiered on the Prime Video platform in the Netherlands and later in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
Amazon Prime Video focuses on Polish productions
The Prime Video platform has prepared several Polish productions so far. These include documentaries about Robert Lewandowski and Kuba Błaszczykowski, as well as the feature film “All That Sex” and the entertainment program “LOL. “Who laughs last?” A documentary about Polish ski jumpers is scheduled to air in the autumn.
Major streaming platforms, particularly those associated with films and series, have also expanded their offerings in recent years to include reality TV formats. Netflix has produced two editions of “Love Never Lies Polska” and Viaplay – two series of the Polish version of “Fort Boyard”.
