Heavy rains and floods have caused significant damage in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Flood relief efforts are currently underway in both states. In response to the damage caused by the natural calamity, many southern stars have signed up to donate to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. Allu Arjun has donated 1 crore rupees to support relief efforts. In a note on X (formerly Twitter), the actor wrote, “I am saddened by the loss and suffering caused by the devastating rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In these challenging times, I humbly donate a total of ₹1 billion to the CM Relief Funds of both states to support relief efforts to pray for everyone’s safety.”

Prabhas has also donated Rs 2 crore to support the affected states. The news was announced by a film trade analyst who posted a note to X. It read, “Dear #Prabhas announced 2 Crores for Telugu states. 1 CR each for Telangana & Andhra Pradesh flood victims.”

Expressing grief over the deaths and hardships caused by the floods, Chiranjeevi also donated Rs 1 crore, which was divided equally between the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Relief Funds.

Mahesh Babu also showed his solidarity towards the flood affected people by donating Rs 50 lakh each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CM Relief Fund. He praised the government’s efforts and urged the people to help in the recovery efforts.
