Prime Minister Donald Tusk has signed an order extending the BRAVO and BRAVO-CRP alert levels until November 30, the Government Security Center reported.
Signed orders apply extension of alert levels: BRAVO level 2 and BRAVO-CRP level 2 throughout the country and 2nd degree BRAVO for Polish energy infrastructure located outside the borders of the Republic of Poland.
Alert levels are primarily a signal for services to be ready for action – RCB remembered.
BRAVO-PCR is the second of the four alert levels specified in the Law on Counter-Terrorist Activities. This means that the public administration is obliged to carry out intensified monitoring of the security of ICT systems. This includes: 24/7 duty of key system administrators.
On the other hand Alert level BRAVO (the second on a four-point scale) is introduced in the event of a growing and foreseeable threat of a terrorist event. This means that the services have information about a potential threat and therefore the public administration is obliged to be particularly vigilant. It is also a question of reviewing stocks and how they can be used in the event terrorist event.
