Despite controversies in recent international matches, Hugo Larsson has returned to the Swedish national football team. The Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder is included in national coach John Dahl Tomasson’s squad for the Nations League matches in Slovakia and Estonia on October 11 and 14.
Larsson left the selection in early September – officially due to a minor injury. The 20-year-old also expressed his displeasure at being left out of the 3-1 win in Azerbaijan.
Larsson is currently considered one of the biggest talents in his home country. But his breakthrough in the national team is still pending. He is said to have a tense relationship with Dahl Thomason. However, the coach himself recently confirmed that he has no problem with Larsson.
