Actress and director Angela Bittencourt, better known as Anya Bittencourtdied aged 72, this Thursday (24), in Rio de Janeiro. The news was confirmed by the actor Low Netwho honored the performer on her social networks. The cause of Anja Bittencourt’s death was not revealed, but the actress recently shared several images on her Instagram of her being hospitalized.
“Anna Bittencourt, dear, what sad news. A warrior, she fought as hard as she could for years. He directed, together with Claudia Rodríguez, my first solo, Fala Sozinho. An exemplary professional. A great actress, director, teacher and most of all a great colleague. Walk with God, my friend!” Nizo complained.
With a long and distinguished career, Anya starred in major soap operas such as “Rainha da Sucata” (1990), “O Clone” (2001), “Paraíso Tropical” (2007), “Passione” (2010), “A Regra” do Jogo ” (2016), “Êta Mundo Bom!” (2016) and “Malhação: Toda Forma de Amar” (2019).
She also starred in successful series such as “Sob Nova Direção” (2003), “A Diarista” (2005), “Carga Pesada” (2006) and “Toma Lá Dá Cá” (2009). His last appearance in TV Globo soap operas was a brief appearance in “Elas por Elas” which ended in April this year.
