Bonn-based Islamist Abdul Alim Hamzah, who was recently arrested and has been in custody ever since, has filed an urgent application with suspension effect to the Cologne Administrative Court. He also filed a lawsuit against the departure order. This was announced by a court spokesman. It is still unclear when a decision will be made. Cologne lawyers representing Hamzah have not responded to General-Anzeiger’s request.
