About five million zlotys flowed into the Law and Justice account, the head of the PiS parliamentary club Mariusz Błaszczak told Polsat News.
We are very encouraged by the response from voters. Thank you very much. Typically, these transfers amount to several tens or hundreds of zlotys. This is what we wanted.
– said the head of the PiS club in the “Graffiti” program.
“This is unequal treatment.”
Mariusz Błaszczak stressed that appeals for financial support would not be necessary “if it were not for the attack on the opposition carried out by the coalition representatives on December 13”.
The National Electoral Commission applied different criteria to Law and Justice. This is unequal treatment
– he emphasized.
He added, however, that “donations are not enough” because – as he mentioned – the loan taken out by PiS amounts to PLN 35 million, and the monthly operation amounts to PLN 2 million, which is why the party is still asking for support.
Presidential elections take a back seat
Recalling that there will be presidential elections next year, the former deputy prime minister stressed that the government “wanted to diminish the capabilities of our candidate”.
The PiS presidential candidate will not be able to match the opposing party’s candidate financially. This is breaking the rules. They are going all out. They are trying to eliminate the PiS candidate.
– he said.
