This is related to Piotr Zelt’s post in early November 2021 on Facebook along with a photo of Anna Michalska, spokesperson for the Border Guard Commander. “The ‘spokesman’ of the Border Guard, the standard face of the PiS state of brutality and thuggery,” wrote the actor, known among others from the series “The 13th Precinct”.
The indictment in this case was submitted to court by the Military Affairs Department of the Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw in May 2023. The trial began in October.
In early March this year, the Warsaw-Mokotów District Court found the actor not guilty. The trial of this case was held in public.
According to tvnwarszawa.pl, the appeal was filed by the prosecutor’s office and the guard’s representatives. The case went to court again – this time at the District Court in Warsaw. The presiding judge – judge Grażyna Puchalska – decided to annul the ruling. This means the matter must return to the first level.
