A teenager drowned in Praia de São Miguel, in Beguaçu, on Sunday (29). He was unconscious on the sand when rescue teams arrived, but his condition stabilized and he was taken to the hospital alive.

According to information received from the Military Fire Department, the team was called to respond to a drowning accident near the Miramar Restaurant, which is located on the banks of BR-101, in Praia de São Miguel.
An Archangel-01 aircraft was deployed to the site to provide support for the incident. The 17-year-old victim was found unconscious on the sandbar.
When the fire department arrived, a team from Samoa was already providing first aid. In cooperation with the Arcanjo-01 medical team, the victim’s condition was assessed and stabilized, and he was transported by the Basic Support Unit (USB) from Samo to the hospital.
