President Andrzej Duda wants to restore the rule of law with Prosecutor General Barski.

Since last week, there have been two national prosecutors in the public and media space – Prosecutor General Dariusz Korneluk, appointed by Minister Adam Bodnar, and his predecessor – Prosecutor General Dariusz Barski, who – according to the decision of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court issued on Friday – should continue to hold his position. However, the decision reached by the Supreme Court is not recognized by the government because the arbitration panel included three so-called new judges. – The position of the three new judges is not a decision of the Supreme Court – Minister Bodnar said a few days ago.

On Monday, Prosecutor Barsky tried to enter the Public Prosecutor’s Office and carry out his work, citing the Supreme Court’s decision, but he was not allowed to enter the building.
