On Sunday, September 22, in the afternoon, the Hautes-Pyrénées emergency services received an emergency call from a couple in their sixties who had gotten lost in the Ibos forest while they were out collecting mushrooms.
On a Sunday afternoon, a couple in their sixties had an unusual adventure. While picking mushrooms in the heart of the Bois du Commandeur, in Ibos in the Hautes-Pyrénées, they got lost and, as time went by, they began to panic.
Surrounded by dense bushes and thorny bushes, they then asked for help. To find them, they asked for technological support from the PGHM rescue team who had high-level equipment and geolocation skills via telephone. The couple were found and “guided” out of their troubles. History does not say whether the harvest was successful…
