On the morning of Thursday 26th, military police officers from CIPE/POLO arrested a man in Camaçari for possession of counterfeit money. This action occurred following a complaint stating that two people made purchases at a shopping center in the city using fake banknotes.

According to the Military Police, agents with suspect characteristics carried out patrols in the area and managed to find one of them. During a personal search, several counterfeit banknotes were found, as well as documents, cell phones and money. The second suspect managed to escape from the scene.
The man was arrested in the act and taken to the 18th Territorial Police Station, where appropriate action was taken.
