Joyride in a stolen taxi ends unexpectedly Indonesian

Something went wrong: A pleasant ride in a stolen taxi came to an abrupt end for a man on Sylt. In Morsum, the vehicle got stuck in the mud.

A stolen taxi ride on Sylt ended for the driver on a mudflat. The 30-year-old stole his vehicle in Keitum on Thursday morning and drove it to Morsum, less than a quarter of an hour away, police confirmed on request. There he apparently drove to the beach and stuck his car in the ground.

The police arrested him and took him to the clinic.

He left his taxi in the mud flats and went to a nearby parking lot, where he damaged another vehicle. There the police arrested the man, who lives in North Frisia, and then took him to a specialist clinic for examination. He was already known to the authorities from an operation the day before.

Travel reports and photos of the stuck taxi were also posted on social media. SHZ reported that witnesses saw the man driving on a closed railroad crossing. Police initially did not provide any information about the 30-year-old’s driving style, citing the early status of the investigation.
