A fire broke out in a private house in western Moscow, a source in the emergency services informed Vechernaya Moskva on Thursday, September 19.

He said the total area of ​​the fire was 60 square meters: 20 square meters and 40 square meters in the attic. The fire has already been completely extinguished.

While extinguishing the fire, rescuers found the body of a man on the first floor. His identity is being established.

On September 18, in the center of Moscow, at 5 Bolshoy Sergievsky Street, a fire broke out in an apartment on the fifth floor and in the attic. There were no reports of casualties.

Earlier, in Yegoryevsk near Moscow, a 15-year-old teenager pulled two children out of a burning house, but was himself poisoned with carbon monoxide. Doctors gave the boy a special therapy to neutralize carbon monoxide and restore respiratory function. The boy was discharged from the hospital a few days later.

On September 17, EMERCOM employees evacuated 11 people from a fire in an administrative building on Magistralnaya Street 4 in Moscow. The fire broke out on the first floor of the Magistral business center.
