Police in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States, have released body camera footage of an officer who shot and killed Sidney Wilson, a former Georgetown University basketball player.
The incident took place on September 16, but received a response this Wednesday (16). According to information from the North American press, the police were called by neighbors of the former athlete who reported disturbances where she lives.

In the images released by the police, it is possible to see an agent in a corridor of a building. As he approaches the door of the former player’s house, Sidney Wilson appears with a knife in his hand. She walks towards the policeman who backs away.
At a certain point in the corridor, Sidney Wilson tries to stab the policeman. He defended himself and fired five shots at the former player, who was rescued but died on the spot. Sidney Wilson would have had psychological problems, according to the North American press.
