A couple died in an accident between a trailer and a motorcycle in southern Santa Catarina

A serious traffic accident between a trailer and a motorcycle led to the death of a couple on Saturday morning (28) in the city of Morro da Fumaca, south of Santa Catarina. The collision occurred on SC-433, in the area of ​​Avenida de Contorno Anel Viário.

The fire department responded to the accident and confirmed the death of the motorcycle driver and passenger. They were identified as Pedro D’Agostin, 67, and Maria de Fátima Martinigo D’Agostin, 60.

According to firefighters, when they arrived at the scene, the two victims were already dead. The man was close to the motorcycle, his legs were broken and his skull was crushed. The woman was found a few meters from the accident site, without vital signs, possibly due to multiple injuries.

The truck driver was not at the scene when firefighters arrived, but he later identified himself. He emerged from the accident unharmed.
