A 2.5-year-old boy fell from the fifth-floor balcony of an apartment building in Bielsko-Biała. He was transported by air ambulance helicopter to a hospital in Katowice.
The accident occurred around noon on Poprzeczna street in Bielsko-Biała. The boy was in the care of his grandparents. At some point they lost sight of him. Grandma went out onto the porch, leaned over and saw the child lying on the lawn. – said RMF FM, midshipman Przemysław Kozyra from the city police headquarters.
When services arrived at the scene of the accident, the boy was conscious. Air rescue helicopter he was taken to hospital in Katowice-Ligota.
At the scene of the accident the police are now carrying out an inspection.
