Mayor of Nysa issued a self-evacuation message. “Unfortunately, we are unable to determine the strength and direction of the flood that threatens us. Generally, it is safe to cross the river!” he added. He warned that an alarm siren would sound in the city – “Water is coming!”

Both bridges in Nysa are no longer passable, the city was cut off from the world – reported Tygodnik Podhalański. The strong current in the streets prevented the passage of a fire truck from which the crew was evacuated.
