Ciudad Juárez — A man with gunshot wounds to the arm came to ask security guards at a maquiladora plant for help in the early minutes of that day, said elements of the Municipal Secretariat of Public Security (SSPM).
At 12:16 a.m., the security guards sought the assistance of authorities after a frightened man with two gunshot wounds came to them to ask them to let him escape because he was being chased by two armed men, municipal police said.
The man is protected and an ambulance has been requested to transport him to hospital with an escort of two SSPM teams.
He was admitted to the emergency room by doctors who said that his life was not in danger.
The arrest of the attackers, who traveled in a gray van, according to the victim, has not been reported.
