BOLZANO. During the assessment conference at the Civil Protection Agency of the Province of Bolzano, it was decided lowering the alpha alert level to normal (zero). The alert status report still shows a yellow level for mass movements and debris flows. All other risks are now in the green band.

The situation eased. The climate, autumnal and calm, is normal. No other significant events are expected for Civil Protection. Water levels yesterday afternoon were similar to Wednesday. After briefly exceeding early warning levels, all water levels are now below this threshold.

Weather phenomena and natural phenomena in South Tyrol are assessed daily by the provincial functional center of the Civil Protection Agency and published in the warning bulletin. The basis for the assessment is the weather forecasts. On them, hydrologists, geologists and foresters assess the situation and therefore the possible threat of natural phenomena.
