Vikrant Massey who is busy with his upcoming promotions Netflix film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba recently recalled the incident of a boy being beaten up during his school days on the podcast Prakhar ke Pravachan. The 12. failure The actor revealed that he had caught the boy dying. Vikrant shared this incident, drawing a parallel with his on-screen character Rishu, who shows his violent streak when he is cheated on in a marriage (hint – Haseen Dilruba). Vikrant said he enrolled in Karate and Taekwondo classes during his school days and felt like an “invincible” hero.

The actor said, “During the beating, I hit a boy on the jaw without realizing that he was epileptic. I saw this boy foaming in front of me and losing consciousness. His elder brother came and hit me left, right and center. All this happened in a matter of seconds, I did not feel the pain of my brother’s beating, because at that moment I was afraid that the boy might die.” The incident left a deep impression on Vikrant’s vulnerable mind and he was later mired in controversies as he “unfortunately” never raised a hand against anyone after the incident.

When asked if it was really “unfortunate” as he would face abuse, Vikrant said he was always under the threat of being “triggered”.

Vikrant Massey’s upcoming film Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba will hit the Netflix screens on August 9. The film is a sequel to the 2021 film Hasseen Dillruba. In addition to Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu and Sunny Kaushal are also involved in Jayprad Desai’s direction. Last year, Vikrant shot to stardom thanks to the sleeper hit 12th Fail. He also won the Best Actor Award in the critics category at the Filmfare Awards.
