Donald Trump, apparently fearful of a new Democratic ticket, shared a wild, unfounded prediction about President Joe Biden and the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday.
On Truth Social, Trump predicted that Biden would crash the DNC later this month and try to take back the Democratic nomination, forcing the September debate they had agreed to go ahead.
“What are the odds that Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST president in US history, had his presidency unconstitutionally stolen from him by Kamabla, Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, Shifty Adam Schiff, Cryin’. Chuck Schumerand other representatives of the crazy left, INVOLVE the Democratic National Convention and try to take back the nomination by challenging me to another DEBATE,” he wrote.
“He feels he made a historically tragic mistake in handing over the President of the United States, a coup d’état, to the people in the world he hates the most, and he wants it back NOW!!!”
The former president had agreed to an ABC-hosted debate with Biden on Sept. 10 before the president ended his re-election campaign and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris last month. Since then, Trump has said that he will not have an ABC conversation with Harris and that it “has been discontinued” because Biden is no longer running for president. Harris has accused Trump of backing out of the conversation.
Instead, he has proposed a conversation with Harris on Fox News on September 4.
