A second series of explosions of communication devices occurred in Lebanon on Wednesday, September 18. At least twenty people were killed and 450 others were injured, according to the latest report delivered in the evening by the Lebanese Health Ministry.

The explosions occurred particularly in the southern suburbs of Beirut, in the Bekaa plain, in the Saida district (Sidon) and in the Baalbek region, in the east of the country.

A day after an attack attributed to Israel that detonated thousands of pagers across the country, this time walkie-talkies belonging to Hezbollah members were hit, according to several sources close to the Lebanese Shiite movement and security sources.
