Washington City.- The jury found Rubén Oseguera González “El Menchito”, son of Nemesio Oseguera “El Mencho”, guilty of two charges.
The jury deliberated for several hours over two days before finding Oseguera guilty of conspiring to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine into the United States, and importing and using firearms in a drug conspiracy.
Oseguera, who was born in California and holds dual U.S. and Mexican citizenship, will be sentenced on Jan. 10 by a U.S. court. He had no apparent reaction to the jury’s decision. One of his attorneys patted him on the shoulder before leading him out of the room.
