The contract was concluded between the State Treasury, represented by the Armament Agency, and AMZ KUTNO SA. It provides for the delivery of 28 transporters, which also include a logistics and training package. The value of the contract is estimated at approximately PLN 800 million, and deliveries are expected to take place in 2026-2028.

The signed agreement is the first step in the implementation of a broader framework agreement concluded on 28 February this year, which covers the delivery of a total of 286 LOTR Kleszcz vehicles in the period from 2026 to 2035.
LOTR Kleszcz is an advanced vehicle based on a 4×4 platform. Its main task is to obtain information about the enemy and the environment in a dynamic and continuous manner, process this data and transmit it to higher levels of command.

In addition, the optoelectronic homing head allows observation of the battlefield day and night, regardless of weather conditions. In addition, the vehicle has a remotely controlled weapons system and is equipped with 12.7 mm WKM-B and 7.62 mm UKM machine guns.

With a full tank, the vehicle can travel a distance of 600 kilometers without needing to refuel. As the Armament Agency writes: “The reconnaissance version of the vehicle was developed on the basis of the BÓBR armored personnel carrier and will ultimately enable a generational change in the Armed Forces, phasing out the obsolete BRDM-2 armored personnel carriers in all versions.”
