Virtual Reality: Will these glasses change the world?

Apple has done it again. While the annual iPhone presentation no longer arouses the great mass interest of the past, this product seems to be fascinating people again: the Apple Vision Pro, Apple’s virtual reality glasses (which shouldn’t be called that – more on that later). It’s now rare for a new device – especially one priced at $3,500 – to be talked about outside of the tech bubble, in podcasts, TikTok videos and in the office hallway. Director James Cameron speaks of a “religious experience” with the Vision Pro. Obviously it doesn’t work below that.
