The cybersecurity specialist firm Aiuken grows 30%

Aiuken Cybersecurity, the Spanish firm specialized in cybersecurity, grew by more than 30% in 2023, achieving a turnover of 20 million euros with an EBITDA of more than 4 million, which increased by 40% year-on-year.

Aiuken Cybersecurity , the Spanish multinational cybersecurity company -specialized mainly in large companies, telecommunications systems and critical infrastructures-, achieved a turnover of 20 million euros in 2023, which represents a growth compared to the previous year of more than 30%. Regarding the gross operating margin (ebitda), it exceeded 20% of revenues, that is, above 4 million euros, which implies a growth of 40%.

In September 2022, the Swedish venture capital fund Trill Impact, backed by the Scandinavian bank Nordea , acquired 100% of the capital of the Spanish firm, which has Juan Miguel Velasco , one of the founders, as CEO. The purchase of Aiuken was valued at around 50 million euros. Trill Impact is a fund aimed at supporting investments that drive positive social impacts and sustainable development goals (ESG). The fund created a pan-European cybersecurity group with a presence in different countries, called Allurity , in which Aiuken was integrated.

The Spanish company has direct subsidiaries in four international markets: Chile, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Morocco. In 2023, the multinational has added four new markets, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Ecuador and Paraguay, to the ten in which it already operated, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Dubai, Morocco and Saudi Arabia. consolidating a staff of more than 150 cybersecurity specialists, who cover the six Security Operations Centers spread around the world 24 hours a day, seven days a week to fight the increase in cybercrimes.

Additionally, through Allurity , it has subsidiaries in Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland and Denmark. The combined turnover of the Allurity group during 2023 rose to 120 million euros and its EBITDA was close to 24 million euros.
