AMD puts Ryzen 7 5700 on website, 8000G APUs and 5700X3D spotted at retailers

It looks like AMD will soon introduce several new processors. For example, Twitter user Momomo_us has not only discovered the upcoming Ryzen 8000G APUs, but also four new Ryzen 5000 chips at some online stores. The Ryzen 7 5700 is included in this list and can now also be found on AMD’s website.

According to the specifications, the Ryzen 7 5700 is a variant of the 5700G (Cezanne), not the 5700X (Vermeer). Both combine 8 cores and 16 threads with 16 MB of L3 cache, while the 5700X has 32 MB. The base clock speed of 3.7 GHz is 100 MHz lower than that of the 5700G, the boost is the same at 4.6 GHz. An important difference is that the 5700 does not have an integrated GPU on board.

In addition, no specifications have emerged, but the first prices of a lot of other SKUs have surfaced. It concerns three different retailers, who have posted the prices of six unannounced chips online. It will soon become clear to what extent these are placeholders.

Videocardz has put all amounts in one handy overview.

The Ryzen 7 8700G and Ryzen 5 8600G and 8500G are offered for US$190 to US$440, followed by US$260 to US$340 for the Ryzen 7 5700X3D. The Ryzen 7 5700 is available at only one retailer, which charges $170. Finally, there are the Ryzen 5 5600GT and 5500GT, which should change hands for $130 to $200.
