“The core of WOT is the volunteers.
He reported that if there was such a need, there were still several thousand WOT soldiers who could be involved in the operation.
The core of the WOT are volunteers, soldiers who work daily in workplaces or study in schools. They can be called up through the so-called immediate appearance procedure.
– said Lieutenant Colonel Pękala.
The spokesman said that in areas that have not yet been flooded, soldiers are reinforcing riverbeds by building embankments or surrounding properties with sandbags. In Kłodzko, Stronie Śląskie and Żelazno in the Kłodzko Valley, they are providing water and food. In Kłodzko, packaged military food rations are distributed at the base of the Military Economic Branch. You can also eat hot soup and have a hot drink there.
He assured that WOT soldiers would not end their support for the current evacuation operations. He stated that territorial residents would participate in the cleaning of the flooded areas.
